Controls
You will want to take your time when navigating Phantomas through the castle. Who knows what lurks behind the next doorway? Moving left and right can get you where you need to go, but be on the lookout for blocks and other items to jump on. Pressing up performs a big jump, while pressing down results in less air. The fire button will shoot if you have found any weapons.
Powerups
In addition to vampire-slaying weapons, be on lookout for flashing items in the form of fish and chicken. Eating these will give you an extra energy bar (look under your icon on the left to see how many bars you have acquired). A maximum of nine bars can be amassed. But why does an android need to eat…?
Tip: Pits
Beware of the huge pits, if Phantomas falls in there is no getting out. So be sure and take large jumps over these crevices.
Tip: Caves
Patience pays off big when you get into the caves below the castle. There are some tough stretches down here where lining up and timing your jumps accordingly will prevent you from having to negotiate it all again -- so take your time.
