Top-Down Mode
There are actually two games in one here. First, you play with a top-down view of the action. You have full eight-way control of your tank, moving it forward, backward, sideways, and diagonally. The fire button blasts shots from the turret. Avoid flashing land mines, which only show when you’re close enough to see them. Handy pickups can be found throughout the game, including shields and smart bombs.
First-Person Mode
The second part of each level is comprised of the enemy base. The first-person camera will automatically scroll from left to right as you control the crosshair. The crosshair changes as you press the fire button to shoot. Use the left, right, up and down keys to target enemy vehicles, soldiers and buildings. Take out the enemy base and it’s on to the next war zone.
Tip: Reflective Shots
The environment is a huge advantage if used correctly. Take things slow and steady, hiding behind cover whenever necessary. When safely out of harm’s way you can use the walls to bounce shots at the enemy.
Tip: Rapid Fire
To maximize damage while attacking the enemy base, be sure and keep the fire button pressed down. This rapid firing will help keep the enemy at bay and protect your tank from taking any damage.
