Controls
The game begins by describing your current surroundings. You then offer instructions with the text parser, using simple English sentences to tell the computer which actions you wish to take. For instance, if you wish to look around simply type "Look." If you wish to move north (and there's a passage leading in that direction), you can do so by typing "Go north."
Basics
Stationfall is a text adventure game, also known as interactive fiction. As with other games of this genre, you won't get far if you expect fast-paced action and beautiful graphics! Stationfall is a story that you help write as it goes along. Your actions affect the outcome of the game, and you'll need to think carefully before deciding what to do.
Gameplay
You can collect items you find and examine and use them to solve puzzles. You can also talk to the creatures and people you meet. Try lots of different commands -- sometimes the computer won't understand what you're saying, but you'll be surprised by how smart it can be sometimes!
Tip: Dialog
Whenever you meet another character, be sure to talk to them. They say lots of interesting things....
Tip: Floyd
Floyd is your constant companion. If you're ever uncertain what to do, ask him! He often has good advice. But don't become too reliant on his information -- the space station seems to do strange things to computers.
Tip: Items
Try using your items in many different ways. Sometimes the most unlikely combinations will be the key to your success.
Tip: Saving
Don't forget to save your progress frequently! Space is a dangerous place, and you never know when you'll encounter a fatal surprise....
