Controls
In Miami Chase, you don’t steer your vehicle in the traditional way. Instead, push up, down, left or right to drive your vehicle in that direction. Note that, depending upon which direction the front of your car is pointing, you can drive backwards and fire your weapons forward at the same time.
Powerups
Look for shops located in each environment. You can recognize them from the parking spaces in front of the building. Drive into the parking space and turn your car sideways to bring up the shop menu. The timer will stop while you shop for items, such as mines, body panels, razer tires and rockets.
Damage
You are given four minutes and three lives to complete your mission. The yellow bar below the cash, timer and life counter indicates your car’s damage level. Hitting other vehicles, buildings or obstacles will decrease the bar. When it runs out, you’ll lose a life.
Stages
When you’ve eliminated the criminal element, the word ‘Out’ will appear to the right of your status bar. Look for the street marked ‘Out’ and drive over the text to move on to the next level. You’ll be awarded points for the time remaining.
Targets
The spinning car to the left of your steering wheel indicates the color of the cars you need to target. Shoot them and they’ll leave behind cash, which you can drive over to add to your account.
Tip: Collateral Damage
Shoot everything! Although you won’t earn cash for shooting the non-target cars, you aren’t penalized for getting rid of them either. Better to destroy them than to let them hit you and cause damage to your vehicle.
Tip: Radar
When searching for the last remaining target vehicle, use the radar to pause the action and see if the enemy is nearby.
