Basics
Move your UFO with the directional controls. Bring out your laser cannon with the Fire button, then aim with the left and right directional controls. Release the fire button to shoot a laser toward the ground. When all three tanks on the ground have been destroyed, you move on to the next set of three.
Gameplay Modes
Laser Blast has four different game modes, selected with the Mode button before you play. 1 is the easiest difficulty level, where the tanks advance in speed and accuracy slowly. Modes 2 and 3 are somewhat harder, with tanks that learn quickly. Mode 4 is extremely tough, with enemies that become as fast as they'll ever get after the very first stage!
Tip: Crash Landing
You're hit! It's bound to happen eventually. But all is not lost -- you can still steer your craft as it falls out of the sky. Crash land on an enemy tank to destroy it and score points for its demise.
Tip: Extra Ships
You'll earn an extra ship every 1,000 points you score, up to a limit of six in reserve.
Tip: Altitude
Believe it or not, enemy fire gets less accurate at low altitudes -- you're flying "under the radar". As you progress in levels, you will find yourself unable to fly as close to the ground as you used to. After a while, you'll only be able to fly left and right!
