Controls
Press the directional keys in any direction to make your monster move. Press the Punch button to punch and the Kick button to kick. Press up or down on the directional controls while you punch or kick to execute some special moves. Press the Jump button to jump -- good for avoiding long-distance attacks, or getting the drop on the other monster.
Charge Attacks
Press and hold the attack buttons to charge up your special attacks. Special attacks will change based on your power level, and each monster has different moves to exploit to pound his foes into the dirt.
Powerups
Grab Powerups to add to your monster's life and power meters, but watch out for bogus items that will poison you, reducing your health and knocking you back to level one.
Tip: Where's the Powerup?
Powering up your critter is key to working your way to victory. Powerups can be found by smashing buildings or by taking out certain enemies.
Tip: Monster Strengths
Each monster is ranked differently in three categories: Speed, Power and Attack. While mecha-monkey Cyber Woo is the most evenly balanced, Atomic Guy is the speediest character while Super Geon is the most powerful.
Tip: Eiffel Tower = Lawn Dart
One of the coolest additions to KotM2 is the ability to rip buildings out of the ground and use them as weapons. Even some of the landmarks within the cities can be utilized as javelins.
