Basics
Use the directional pad or keys to move your boxer. Press fire to throw a punch. The computer will automatically select a left or right jab, depending upon your position relative to your opponent's. Your goal is to hit your rival in the face! Land the most punches and you win. Score 99 for an automatic knockout. Each game (round) lasts two minutes. Boxing also supports a two-player option.
Tip: Reach Out
If you can stay just outside your opponent's reach, you can let him swing and miss, then move in for a counterattack.
Tip: Rope-A-Dope
Get your opponent on the ropes and you can often land a series of one/two jabs for lots of points.
